Set on the edge of the woodland village of Hermitage, just a few miles from J13 of the M4 and from Newbury town centre. Recently refurbished, the Lamb is now a warm, stylish bar and restaurant, offering something different to the usual pub-style menu whilst retaining all the rustic charm of a country pub - perfect for dining and for that equally important casual drink and snack.
Our Head Chef, Simon Rudd (who you may already know from his time at the Beetle and Wedge, the Royal Oak Yattendon and other fine restaurants), has created a fresh and original menu based on high quality ingredients and taking advantage of as much local produce as possible:
